- $87K for officers with 3 years of prior experience
- $106K for officers with 4 years of prior experience
- 14-week paid fast track academy
- 401(A) or Defined Benefit plan options

- Paid life insurance, 1.5 times annual salary
- Duty weapon, uniform and equipment provided
- 2-5 weeks’ vacation depending on years of service, accelerated annual leave accrual
- 40 hours of Vacation Leave immediately accrued upon start of academy (For use after 6 months of employment)
- 10 Paid holidays
- 120 hours annual Sick Leave
- 40 hours of Sick Leave immediately accrued upon start of academy

- Must be twenty-one (21) years old
- No felony convictions
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- U.S. Citizen OR a lawful, permanent resident
- Three (3) years related law enforcement experience within the previous four (4) year period immediately preceding the application.
- Minimum (1) year of sworn peace officer experience within the last (3) years
- Other related experience includes:
- Corrections / Detention Officers
- Active Duty Military
- Civilian Investigators working for a government agency
- Time spent attending a police academy
